Powerline provides the explanation for the vote that Jeffrey Lord was puzzling over earlier this afternoon. In a nutshell, Castle publicly opposed impeachment, and the vote to send Kucinich’s wacky bill to die in committee was not a vote in favor of passage, nor was it understood as such at the time.
UPDATE: Just for the record, this post went up shortly before Quin’s cri de coeur below (the way the AmSpec backend works, the timestamp defaults to when you begin writing; I’m in the habit of moving it forward to the actual post time but not everyone is).
