Or something. Someone in Rep. Ben Chandler’s (D-KY) district just sent me this ad he ran apparently in an effort to sink to the depths of the elect more Republicans and see more black churches burn ad from a couple of cycles back.
Elect my Republican opponent and more miners will die. As a result.
Despicable. Phariseeism. Anything to get re-elected.
I’m reminded of this and just don’t see people like Ben “Make sure my ads mention I prayed” Chandler belonging in the same conversation as those who spend less time posturing about having the miners’ interests at heart, and more time actually showing it. What really makes the bile rise, having known mining executives, is people like Chandler demonizing the ones committed to their saftey.
