As a foundational core, this article does not complain. It just tells it like it is. The Left whines and complains that every undesired outcome stems from “systemic racism.”
A cop shot Ma’khia Bryant. Next time she should not try plunging a knife into the chest of another Black teen girl. A cop shot Michael Brown in Ferguson. Next time he should not wrestle an arresting officer for his gun. A cop shot some guy in Atlanta who wrestled away his Taser gun and then started shooting the Taser at the cop. Next time he should not do that.
And if there won’t be a “next time” for those three fools, We the Living — of all races, colors, ethnicities, creeds, and such — can learn and teach it to our children:
- Never try to plunge a knife into the chest of a teen Black girl while a cop is standing five feet away and watching.
- Never try to wrestle a gun from an arresting officer in his police car.
- Never wrestle away a cop’s Taser and then shoot it at him.

The Left media bewails “systemic racism” for Blacks getting fewer COVID vaccine shots than Whites. If Blacks want the vaccine shots, let them do what I did: enroll for the vaccine. Don’t sit and kvetch to the Washington Post and MSNBC that “systemic racism” is blocking you. That is baloney. Ocasio jumped first in line to get it. If she could figure it out, anyone can. Governments are begging people to come for the vaccines. They even are offering lottery millions as inducements. So don’t whine about Blacks getting fewer vaccines. Who is stopping them? Everyone who wants tickets to a Kobe Bryant memorial at the Staples arena or to a Cardi B “concert” knows how to find tickets and when-and-where to go for the event. OK?
You didn’t get a good grade in school? Don’t kvetch. Instead, go home and study harder. You do lousy in math? Don’t complain about the “racism” of Arabic numerals. Arab Muslims are among the Intersectionalist Left’s Chosen. Don’t demand classes in “Woke Math.” Instead, go home and learn how to add and subtract, multiply and divide. You got a bad grade in American history? So now you want to change the real history of this most wonderful of countries to “1619” and “Critical Ethnic Studies” nonsense? News Flash, boobie: No matter what American history they teach, no matter how woke, the Asian-American kids are going to be among those getting the highest grades, and also the kids from families hailing from India, and maybe even a few Jews. When I was in yeshiva (Jewish parochial) high school, I studied American history from the same standardized American history books the non-Jews were using in public school. There was nothing “relevant” at all in it to me as a Jew, but it all was enormously relevant to me as an American. So learned about Peter Stuyvesant and Peter Minuit and Roanoke and Jamestown and Nathan Hale and Patrick Henry and Yorktown and crossing the Delaware and the Battle of New Orleans and Manassas (Bull Run) and Sharpsburg (Antietam) and Shiloh and Gettysburg and the Battle of the Bulge and Midway and Mildred Fillmore (or was it Millard?). All that irrelevance. To this day I celebrate that learning.
The year I took the SAT entrance exams to get into college, all of a sudden they changed all the stuff to be “relevant” to “minorities.” (I am Jewish. We make up 2 percent of America, so we are not a minority.) So we all were presented that Sunday morning with reading comprehension and grammar questions based on long essays about African culture, African history, Motown and jazz music in America, and Ghana kente cloth. Nothing about Zev Jabotinsky or the Irgun, tefillin or tallit or tzitzit. Stuff about Duke Ellington and Dizzy Gillespie, but nothing about klezmer or Chazan Yossele Rosenblatt or Reb Shlomo Carlebach. And I still got into all the Ivy League colleges of my choice. And the kvetchers still came out in force a year later, as full results of those SATs were reported and analyzed — still complaining about the “systemic racism” of the SATs because the outcomes had not changed.
I don’t expect a break from anyone other than my nuclear family. After 2,000 years of documented anti-Semitism, albeit moderated meaningfully by continued exceptions of the most wonderful righteous non-Jews who will not tolerate anti-Semitism and who will stand in its way even at risk to their own well-being and even survival, I just proceed every day on the principle that I better make it on my own. That way, every time I meet a person who does show me some kindness and does give me a break, it comes as a welcome and surprising boost and makes me invincible. But I start from a place where it is I against the whole world (and that includes my first set of in-laws). Because, as Mort Sahl once insightfully said, “All because you are a paranoid, it doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you.”
These feelings of standing alone have been exacerbated the past two weeks while Israel fought once again for its very survival. Did you know they were fighting for survival? If 4,000 deadly rockets had been fired into New Jersey (similar size to Israel) in a week and a half, what do you think would be left of New Jersey? Not even Bada Bing! Hamas Arab Muslim terrorists rained 4,000 deadly, murderous rockets onto Israel’s civilian population. They did not bother to aim; they just fired at cities throughout Israel randomly and indiscriminately. They could have ended up blowing up the Al-Aqsa mosque on the site of the Holy Temple. They even killed Arabs in Israel because they weren’t aiming. They even killed Arabs in Gaza because 1,000 of their own Hamas rockets ended up landing in Gaza. Who does that?
And how does the world respond? The European Union? The United Nations? Democrats up and down the Senate and House? They blame the Jews! They blame Israel for shooting back. What is that all about?
They tell Israel the response needs to be “proportional.” What does that mean? If Arab Islamist animals shoot 4,000 rockets all over your country, aiming indiscriminately at your women, children, and noncombatant men, does “proportionality” mean that Israel should drop 4,000 rockets indiscriminately on Arab women, children, and noncombatant men? Is that proportional? When the United States responded to 9/11 by bombing the living daylights out of Afghanistan, was that proportional? In the Civil War, when the Union mowed down Pickett’s men at Gettysburg, exacting some 50 percent casualties, was Gen. Meade then obligated to shoot 50 percent of the North’s own men who repelled the charge? Y’know, for proportionality.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki. That’s 129,000 plus 226,000. Proportional? On the other hand, if we had not bombed, we would have needed two phases to take Japan: Operation Olympic and Operation Coronet. In all, it was estimated that the invading Allies would have suffered between 1.7 and four million casualties to take Japan, with between 400,000 and 800,000 dead, while Japanese fatalities would have been around five to 10 million. Proportional? Well, what about Pearl Harbor? The Japanese killed 2,403 sailors and civilians at Pearl Harbor, and we had not killed any of them. Now is it proportional?
Except when judging Jews defending their lives and their only country in the world, who gauges proportionality? Do Arab Muslims use proportionality as a guiding principle in war? In Syria, between 400,000 and 600,000 have been killed. Do any Arab Muslims cry about proportionality? More than 14,000 women have been killed. Between 5,000 and 13,000 have been tortured and executed in prison. Proportionality? Does anyone even care? In the Iran-Iraq War, there were 500,000 killed, and another 100,000 civilians were killed. Did anyone gauge proportionality? Civilian deaths?
The Left’s “compassion” is phony and is pure Jew-hatred. An example: I am told there are two late-night left-wing TV “comedians” named Trevor Noah and John Oliver. I do not know either of their last names. Apparently, for laughs, they both laced into Israel, accused Israel of war crimes, and berated the lack of proportionality. (That’s the state of American late-night TV comedy. Wheeeeeeeeere’s Johnny?) Hamas animals use their own civilians as human shields and aimed indiscriminately 4,000 times to kill Jewish civilians — both explicit war crimes under international law. And on the other side, Israel and America have invested over a billion dollars in “Iron Dome” technology to defend our soldiers and those of Israel, with each interceptor missile costing $40,000. If Israel did not have an Iron Dome with a 90 percent success rate in shooting down Hamas rockets, Israel would have had no other choice but to flatten all of Gaza into a pancake, exactly as America and our Allies did to Dresden, Hamburg, and Berlin.
Israel perspicaciously invested years ago in the technology that has negated the urgency to carpet-bomb now. Meanwhile, the precision technology of Israel’s aerial response now is so pinpoint-accurate that collateral civilian war deaths in Gaza were fewer than 100 throughout an entire war, even though Israel had to — and did — obliterate more than 60 miles of underground Hamas terror tunnels and hundreds of rockets and launchers, as well as Hamas terror infrastructure and operation command centers that the Arab Islamists deliberately had stationed in the heart of their own civilian centers including the campuses of their own hospitals, elementary schools, residential apartment buildings, and mosques. Of the 232 killed, more than 160 were Hamas leaders and terrorists. Of the other 70 who died in Gaza, many were killed by the thousand Hamas rockets that landed in Gaza.
No other country in human history ever before fought to defend its existence in such cautious manner, meticulously avoiding inflicting unintended collateral civilian casualties. And remember: the Israelis carefully avoided harming the Gaza civilian population who democratically elected Hamas to power to destroy Israel and who repeatedly race into the streets to cheer and celebrate every time Hamas kills Jews. Think about that.
Meanwhile, on our American home front, the often-criminal Black Supremacist and racist Black Lives Matter association attack Israel and overtly support the terrorist Hamas. Is it even legal under American law to support terrorist groups? Bands of Jew-haters roam streets in broad daylight to perpetrate overt acts of violent physical anti-Semitism in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and other metropolitan centers. A Jew-hater set fire to four synagogues in Riverdale, Queens, New York, a few weeks ago. Imagine the outrage if it had been four Black churches or four mosques. Instead, it was only synagogues, so the media ignore it.
Think back to that maniac in Atlanta who had a craving to be massaged by Korean women and then, because he heard the voices that speak only to him, went on a shooting rampage against Korean massage parlors. The next thing you know, long-time anti-Asian racists on the Democrat Left began bewailing “systemic racism” against Asian Americans. For years, they have been the true systemic racists keeping Asian Americans out of Harvard, Yale, and other great schools because the Asian kids just study and work too hard and therefore earn admissions beyond their proportions in the population. Compassionate liberalism.
But here and now, on those streets, the physical hate is targeted at Jews. And Jews are supposed to accept it. No congressional action. No determined left-media coverage. And certainly no one hears New York’s AOC — the Anti-Semite of Color — condemning physical street Jew-hatred. Ilhan Omar? Rashida Tlaib? Ayanna Pressley? Cori Bush? Just crickets from all the AOC’s, the Anti-Semites of Color.
After 2,000 years of blood libels, Inquisitions, pogroms, Holocausts, and Stalins, Jews are grateful every time a Pastor John Hagee, a Sen. Henry Jackson or Ted Cruz, a Sean Hannity, or a Col. Richard Kemp of England emerges on the scene to stand alongside courageously. Rest assured that the AOCs — the Anti-Semites of Color — all will be gone long before their targets are. And they will take the Jewish apostates — their Bernie Sanders–George Soros stooges — with them to that place where Karl Marx and Leon Trotsky await them all.
