James Comey’s Insane ‘86 47’ Threat

Former FBI Director James Comey posted a photo of a “cool shell formation” from his beach walk today. In the photo, shells were laid out to read “86 47” on the sand.

Eighty-six, a well-known term by Americans to mean “to get rid of,” indicates intent to the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump.

“Just James Comey casually calling for my dad to be murdered,” Donald Trump Jr. wrote on an X post. “This is who the Dem-Media worships. Demented!!!!” (READ MORE: James Comey: Not Just Incompetent But He Placed American Lives At Risk)

Other prominent conservative influencers and news personalities commented on Comey’s post on social media. “Looks like a threat against Trump to me,” Keith and Kevin Hodge (known as the HodgeTwins) posted on X.

When are we going to finally be rid of the calls for political violence from the Left? Unfortunately, the Left’s call to murder anyone opposed to their side is no longer surprising. In an article I wrote for The American Spectator last month, an NCRI/Rutgers survey found that 55 percent of liberals would find the hypothetical murderer of Trump to be “somewhat justified.” (READ MORE: The Left Loves Political Violence

There is no love lost between the president and the ex-FBI director. Comey, who secured the position in 2013, was fired by Trump during his first term in 2017. The New York Times reported on Trump’s disagreements with Comey, such as Comey’s disagreement with Trump’s claim that the Obama administration had wiretapped Trump Tower.

Now that the FBI is under the leadership of Trump-appointee Kash Patel, the agency is now looking into investigating Comey for infiltrating Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. A whistleblower told the House Judiciary Committee that Comey personally directed two female “honeypot” agents to go undercover to find incriminating evidence on Trump.

An hour after the beach walk post, Comey posted another photo promoting the upcoming release of his new novel, FDR Drive. Comey’s novel is a story about an attorney trying to take down a “far-right media personality with a popular podcast villifying those he thinks are destroying America: intellectuals, immigrants, and people of color.”

UPDATE:

Comey deleted the post after a couple of hours of it being uploaded. “I posted a picture of some shells I saw today on a beach walk, which I assumed were a political message. I didn’t realize some folks associate those numbers with violence. It never occurred to me but I oppose violence of any kind so I took the post down,” Comey stated on X.
