It Looks Like AOC Is a Crook! How Shocked Are You?

What we know about our socialist superiors can be boiled down to one simple fact: both Fidel Castro and Hugo Chávez died richer than Mitt Romney.

Hell, by the time it’s over, it’s probably going to be true that Barack Obama does as well.

Everything about that garbage ideology is a lie, and the most conspicuous proof is that the people who espouse it are garbage of the worst sort.

And that brings us to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who graced the recent pages of the New York Post with a rather unflattering revelation about that moronic “Tax the Rich” escapade at the Met Gala a couple of years back:

Socialist darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez threw one of her campaign staffers under the bus after the Democrat apparently flouted House ethics rules by attending the 2021 Met Gala wearing luxurious apparel that included a glitzy gown with “Tax the Rich” inscribed across the back in blood-red letters.

The Bronx and Queens rep, 33, claimed to investigators with the Office of Congressional Ethics she was unaware that thousands of dollars for her dress rental, shoes, hair, makeup and other accouterments went unpaid for months after the event, leaving her open to allegations of improperly accepting gifts.

“I just never, ever, ever would have allowed that to happen knowing what I have learned,” Ocasio-Cortez said during a May 2022 interview. “But I wasn’t privy to the invoices, wasn’t privy to the ones that had been sent.”

The “Squad” member claimed her underling had access to her credit cards and was tasked with paying the hair stylists, makeup artists, and dressmakers.

Ocasio-Cortez, 33, told investigators with the Office of Congressional Ethics she was unaware that thousands of dollars in expenses related to her gala appearance went unpaid for months after the event in September 2021.

But the OCE’s report, made public Thursday, revealed those expenses were not paid until after the office opened its probe of Ocasio-Cortez on Feb. 22, 2022.

So, do you believe her? Ace of Spades sure doesn’t:

I’ve had dinner multiple times with a congressman and he always insisted on paying so there would never be any suggestion that anyone else had tried to bribe him with a meal.

Donkey-Chompers doesn’t roll that way, obviously.

How did this stupid fake socialist money-grubbing social climber get a pair of $35,000-a-pop tickets, anyway?

Easy, she brownnosed Anna Wintour, a powerful media figure and major functionary at a transnational media conglomerate.

It’s not like Conde-Naste will ever have any business in front of Congress, except for every other year.

The Post reports that the market price of two tickets to the Met Gala was well over six figures, and that was before the runaway inflation of the full-on Biden era.

And of course, Condé Nast is a giant company that has a piece of Spectrum, the internet service provider regulated by the federal government. That’s not to mention that Advance Publications, which is the division of Condé Nast under which Vogue resides, also employs a registered lobbyist on Capitol Hill.

So what AOC did, even without trying to stiff her hair, clothing, and makeup vendors and thus make their goods and services into gifts (illegal gifts, I’ll have you know), was tantamount to soliciting a bribe.

And it’s not like she was unhappy with how they made her over for that appearance. That was pretty damned obvious. She thought she was Cinderella in that obnoxious commie dress. Can’t even write the check.

Not that Anna Wintour is upset about being shaken down by AOC. Anna Wintour thinks AOC is the bees’ knees. It’s people like Anna Wintour who make AOC out to be uber-glamorous and super-smart and virtuous, when the rest of us just think she’s an idiot.

She’ll likely get censured by Congress for this. Let’s hope there’s enough sand in the GOP leadership to do it — either that or she’s irritated enough Republicans and maybe even a few Democrats that they’ll censure her out of pique. But that’s as far as it’ll go.

When what ought to happen is that she gets prosecuted for it, and maybe she can solicit a bribe of free services from a criminal defense attorney for her trouble.

And naturally she blames her staff for the violation — at least for the slow payment on those goods and services. Well, guess what? It doesn’t matter if your staff can’t do their job. You’re the member of Congress — you’re responsible.

And what’s with the trashing of the little people, anyway? The socialists are supposed to love the smallfolk, aren’t they? You know, the ones who had to wear a mask while working at the Met while AOC didn’t have to.

All of it is such a window into the garbage, isn’t it?

She’s a crook. All of them are crooks. She couldn’t give a damn about you and she proves it over and over again.
