In the 2020 presidential election, Millennials, those born between 1981-1996, and Gen Z, those born between 1997-2012, made up a larger share of the electorate than Baby Boomers by a sizable margin: 38 percent compared to 28 percent.

By the 2024 election, Millennials and Gen Z will likely outnumber Boomers among voters. By 2036, those two groups, in addition to an unnamed generation of voters, will make up roughly 60 percent of the electorate.

It is not difficult to see which party is trending with younger cohorts. Hint: it’s not the GOP. In fact, 65 percent of those ages 18-24 voted for Joe Biden over Donald Trump.

In June, a national poll conducted by the Institute of Politics at the Harvard Kennedy School found that 40 percent of those ages 18-29 expect their lives to be better because of the Biden administration. The same poll also found that 64 percent of 18- to 29-year-olds believe that health insurance should be a guaranteed right, and 55 percent of those surveyed think the government should do more to stop “climate change.” 

Increasingly, younger Americans view socialism more favorably than capitalism. According to a 2020 Victims of Communism Memorial poll, 49 percent of Gen Z has a favorable view of socialism. Just 52 percent of Gen Z supports capitalism, according to the same poll. 

Meanwhile, 35 percent of Millennials and 31 percent of Gen Z support eliminating the capitalist system in favor of a more socialist system.

Yes, you read that correctly.

The future leaders of this country find the economic system that has lifted the greatest number of people out of poverty so distasteful that they would rather replace it with a socialist dystopian nightmare.

That should terrify everyone who cherishes our God-given rights enshrined in the Constitution. It strikes at the very core of those who embrace individual liberty and freedom while threatening those who value family, faith, and religion. It is an attack against those who espouse personal responsibility and free-market principles over socialism and confiscatory taxation. It would reject private enterprise and property rights and replace them with intrusive big government despotism. It is an assault on those who want national sovereignty over illegal immigration and mass amnesty. It is an affront to those who support the rule of law over lawlessness and anarchy, and it would replace self-governance with tyranny, oppression, and destitution.

So what exactly can be done to prevent this socialist takeover by the stupid generation?

As we begin a new year, it is long overdue for parents (the ones who aren’t already avowed Marxists, anyway) to speak to their children candidly about what the current occupant of the White House and his puppet masters are doing to desecrate our country.

It is time to ask your children a few questions.

Ask your children how it benefits working-class families to have a fake uniter-in-chief promote inflationary spending that raises the cost of gas, heat, electricity, clothing, food, and cars by 6.8 percent in the last year alone.

Ask your children how it helps rural Americans to have to compete for jobs with the more than 2 million illegal immigrants who are set to enter our country this year alone, thanks to nonexistent border security at the behest of clueless Joe and his handlers.

Ask your children: If America is so rotten and evil, then why do so many people want to come here?

Ask your children how communism or socialism worked out in China, Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, or North Korea. And no, Denmark is not a socialist country.

Ask your children what exactly is so equitable and just about Democrat leaders who do absolutely nothing about massive spikes in homicides and violent crimes, predominantly in minority neighborhoods. Ask them why these hypocrites call for the police to be defunded while having their own extensive security details (paid for by us).

Ask your children what is so great about dumbing down the educational expectations for minorities and keeping failing public schools open for business instead of promoting school choice programs where basic standards of core subjects are expected and discipline is enforced. 

Ask your children what is so inspiring about teaching people of color that they will never amount to anything due to white racism that is supposedly still oppressing them.

Ask your children how it benefits white students to teach them that they should only be judged by the color of their skin and not by the content of their character.

Ask your children how forcing every American citizen to take an experimental vaccine, including those who have natural immunity and children as young as 5 years old (who are at virtually no risk from the China virus), is good for public health.

Ask your children where it says in the Constitution the government can shut down businesses for those who don’t comply with this lunacy.

Ask your children what is so generous about a fake Native American senator from Massachusetts or a habitually grumpy self-loathing Jewish socialist septuagenarian senator from Vermont punishing those who invested their own time, money, and ideas to create superior goods and services that raised the standard of living for everyone.

Ask your children what sacrifice some virtue-signaling millionaire athlete or sanctimonious Hollywood star had to make while bashing former President Donald Trump, who presided over the lowest unemployment rate for African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, and women, and saw a labor force participation rate of 63.4 percent, compared to a participation rate of 61.8 percent in Biden’s America.

Ask your children if they’re afraid of vocalizing their real views out of fear of losing their “friends” if they don’t show complete solidarity or march in lockstep with their peers during whatever the latest woke social justice crusade du jour is. Ask them just how tolerant their friends are, and if they really want to be around someone who would unfriend them on social media and cancel them in real life merely for being a free thinker.

And when you’re done asking them these questions, ask them to pass them on.
