Gay Marriage Officially Begins in Colorado
by

As I predicted yesterday following the Supreme Court’s refusal to hear same-sex marriage cases, it’s not just the states which had cases in appeals courts which will be affected. Today, Colorado Attorney General John Suthers (a conservative Republican), recognizing that this state’s ban on gay marriage is now unsustainable, ordered all 64 county clerks to begin issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

I realize many conservatives will be displeased, but I think this result is the right one for American and a big political positive for non-leftists as it removes a substantial motivating factor for many liberal voters.
