A video about Pride Month and gender identity was shown to elementary students at public schools in Granbury, Connecticut, without parental consent.
The story gained attention after parents spoke out against the district at a Board of Education meeting on Wednesday, June 7.
Kyle Reyes, a father of four, called this incident “the straw that broke the camel’s back” and made him decide to pull his kids out of the school.
Reyes explained that the school district was unapologetic in response to outraged parents.
