Climate Change is Like Santa Claus: Dem Congressman Gets One Right
by

So Congressman Nick Joe Rahall (D-WV) made a rookie mistake (for a guy who has been around as long as he has). He went off-prompter. And here is what he delivered:

“Climate change – to deny it exists, to just put your head in the sand and, ‘oh no, it doesn’t exist, what are you talking about,’ is about like standing on the floor of Macy’s during the month of December and claiming Santa Claus doesn’t exist. Come on, get real.”

Let’s stipulate that by this Rahall means the Man-made warming theory, for which “climate change” has become the more politically utilitarian shorthand since “global warming” faded. Because no one actually denies climate change. That’s what it does. Always has, always will.

Ok. The hucksters pushing the myth of a “stable climate” before the horrors of industrial man really are climate change deniers. But anyway…

Rahall’s got a point. “Climate” was after all, trotted out as the latest excuse, the Plan B, or X, Y or Z by now I suppose, for the Left to do to you and make you do what they’ve always demanded they be able to do to you and make you do. It was the conjured fantasy to explain delivery all of the Left’s wish list.

I hope I’m not being the first one to bring bad news here…
