One of the young conservative voices in Belgium, Pepijn Leonard J. Demortier studies philosophy at the University of Leuven and was a visiting student at the Ludwig-Maximilian-University of Munich. He writes on conservativism, aesthetics, religion, ethics and culture-critique. He maintains good contacts with several young conservative thinkers at both European and American universities. Similarly, he is strongly attracted to American conservative ideas and what their value can be for Western Europe.
