The following five Senate races will determine exactly how Republican the upper house will be come 2011: Colorado, Illinois, Nevada, Washington and West Virginia. I’ve made my predictions, but all are forseeably winnable for either party. After these five, each party has what I call “reach seats” races that could be winnable for the GOP in a tsunami or for the Democrats if the wave has already crested. I’d put California, Connecticut, and Delaware in the former category, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin in the latter.
