Following Andrew Breitbart to the podium of what was supposed to be his press conference, Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) admitted that he took and sent the picture that has ensnared him in scandal for the better part of the last week. Weiner apologized to his wife, constituents, the media, and, after being asked by reporters, even Breitbart.
I’m not sure what else can be said of this surreal event. Weiner just said “to the best of my knowledge” the women he communicated with online were adults.
UPDATE: I hope this is the last press conference where I ever hear a reporter shout to a member of Congress, “Were you fully erect?”
