Sorry, but the Wall Street Journal is right and Newt Gingrich disgustingly wrong on every level of this debate. Even Al Gore is now against Big Ethanol, and the Washington Post acknowledges that it does more to harm the environment than help it. It’s bad for cars. It’s economically counter-productive. It’s corporate welfare at its worst. And the only reason Gingrich is for it is because he wants to pander to Iowa voters. Pathetic. Despicable. Profoundly unconservative.
