You can’t make it up. The Huffington Post, constantly bidding to become the racial sewer of Internet websites, is at it again. Its latest?
A Racist, Sexist Demagogue Just Won the New Hampshire Primary
This time it was ranting and foaming in the HuffPo’s perpetual rabid racial style about Donald Trump’s victory in New Hampshire. At the end of the article the editors posted a note with links to “xenophobe,” “racist,” “repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims.”
Ah. But follow the links.
Follow the link to Trump as “xenophobe” and you get this racial screed headlined:
9 Outrageous Things Donald Trump Has Said About Latinos
“They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.”
What was outrageous? The writer headlines:
He Called Latino Immigrants “Criminals” And “Rapists”
What was not linked in the HuffPo screed? Articles like this one at the Daily Caller headlined:
Father of Black Teenager Murdered by Illegal Alien Asks ‘Do Black Lives Really Matter?’
That story reads in part:
The father of a black teenager murdered by an illegal immigrant asked “do black lives really matter?”….(Jamiel) Shaw told of his son, Jamiel Shaw II, who in May 2008 at the age of 17 was gunned down by Pedro Espinoza, a 19-year-old illegal Mexican immigrant.
…”My family’s peace and freedom were stolen by an illegal alien from Mexico. He was brought here by his illegal alien parents,” Shaw told the hearing, chaired by Florida U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis.
Shaw described that his son, a standout football and track star in Los Angeles, was walking down his own street when he was accosted by Espinoza and a friend.
Shaw said that it was proved in court that Espinoza — who was in a Latino gang — targeted his son because he was black.
“Do black lives really matter? Or does it matter only if you are shot by a white person or a white a policeman?” the elder Shaw asked during his testimony…”
In other words? In the eyes of the Huffington Post the African American — and Trump-supporting — Mr. Shaw is a xenophobe because he has the audacity to say that his black son was targeted for execution by a Latino because of his race. The twisted logic here is as disgraceful as it is bizarre, race card playing in what is seen by the HuffPo and liberals as oh-so sophisticated. When in fact the sheer racial ugliness of the game the HuffPo is playing is as old as the left’s long and horrific support of slavery, segregation, lynching, and the Klan (as e.g. seen here) — which has now morphed into support for every racial game from quotas to illegal immigration.
Take a look at another HuffPo link in that editor’s note, the link that says Trump has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims. The headline?
Donald Trump Calls for ‘Complete Shutdown’ Of Muslims Entering U.S.
Simply put? The entire article is a bold-faced lie. Here is exactly what Trump said in a press release:
Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on…
In other words, Trump was calling for a temporary pause in Muslim immigration “until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.” Say again, Trump is calling for a pause. The husband, son, and grandson of immigrants — and America is a country 100% composed of the descendants of immigrants — Trump is being portrayed as wanting a permanent ban on Muslims rather than a fix to the legal immigration system that allows people like San Bernardino killer Tashfeek Malik into the country with the full intent of committing mass murder.
Yet in pursuit of the typical left-wing race card-playing agenda the Left has followed from the get-go in this country, the HuffPo deliberately — deliberately — misrepresented the facts of Trump’s views to promote its own agenda of perpetual racial division in the service of the progressive agenda.
How obsessed is the HuffPo on race? If you missed this latest pile of steaming racial garbage the HuffPo published on Trump there is plenty more — more than plenty — to read as the “Race R Us” HuffPo has a long and bizarre history of race card playing that would put the Klan to shame. Here’s but a small sampling from the HuffPo racial sewer:
Why These Women Think White Gay Men Are Stealing From Black Female Culture: Study finds white people may feel threatened by African American children as young as five.
She Looks Black, but Her Politics Are Red: What Mia Love’s Victory Means for the Face of the GOP
Sherrod Brown: Mass Shootings By White Men Are Terrorist Attacks Too: The U.S. has seen plenty of “crazy gunmen” who “look more like me than they look like Middle Easterners,” the senator said.
Note well that this last racial gem — a sparkling example of liberal privilege, was penned by the far-left’s Reverend John Dorhauer, the president, shamefully, of my own United Church of Christ. Dorhauer’s race-card playing, please note, is decidedly not the view of the average UCC member, which I can testify to as a former president of my own church council and ex-member of a UCC regional governing board. The HuffPo Dorhauer piece is in fact a prime example of liberal privilege, as defined here:
Liberal Privilege is a form of racism that both underlies and is distinct from institutional and overt racism. It underlies them in that both are predicated on preserving the privileges of liberals (regardless of whether agents recognize this or not). But it is also distinct in terms of intentionality. It refers to the hegemonic structures, practices, and ideologies that reproduce liberals’ privileged status. In this scenario, liberals do not necessarily intend to hurt people of conservative or non-liberal belief, but because they are unaware of their liberal privilege, and because they accrue social and economic benefits by maintaining the liberal status quo, they inevitably do.
To sum up? The Huffington Post has become as racially obsessed as Stormfront, the latter described by the Southern Poverty Law Center — racially obsessed itself — as “a very popular online forum for… racial extremists.”
What more can be said? One thing.
Someone ought to be ashamed of herself.
