It was the least of the problems our president had with his speech last night, but did any ears perk up when he referred to America’s soldiers who fought in World War One as “GIs,” a term not in use until World War Two? Apparently the president has never heard of the word “doughboys.” And if he had, he’d probably think they’re rolling in dough and need to be taxed hard.
