Update on Rove and Tea Party Patriots
by

With regard to the photo-shopped image of Karl Rove into a Nazi uniform, the TPP has issued this statement:

“We did not know about or approve a manufactured image added to a recent email from the Tea Party Patriots.  It was added by an outside vendor. The image was inappropriate and we have ordered the vendor to immediately cease further use of the image.”        – Jenny Beth Martin, Tea Party Patriots co-founder and National Coordinator.

We still await an apology from TPP. Calling something “inappropriate” is not a direct apology. And the apology should come from TPP itself, not from some vendor.

Further question: What sort of vendor goes around photo-shopping anyone into Nazi uniforms, anyway?

The cannibalization on the right must stop.
