Greeley’s column seems like a bizarre liberal application of the Bush doctrine: Pre-emptive excuse-making for another Democratic defeat. If Obama loses in November, it will have nothing to do with the fact that Democrats nominated a 46-year-old with no executive experience who was unknown outside Illinois until 2004.
