Michelle Obama clarifies:
“For the first time in my lifetime, I’m seeing people rolling up their sleeves in a way that I haven’t seen and really trying to figure this out – and that’s the source of pride that I was talking about.”
Oh that’s MUCH better. Not only does she sound prideful, but now ignorant too! Yes, Mrs. Obama, before you and your wonderful husband came along, we were lolling about, blindly accepting the inevitability of Hillary, or worse, free trade.
Forget getting past the baby boomers. Maybe we should just go down to Generation X and see how they’re doing.
