McCain calls himself an effective change agent by citing surge and his earlier criticisms of Rummy. Discusses his other reforms. Extremely effective answer.

Romney gives a good answer on change…at first… but goes on too long. Starts to be too many words. Too much of a filibuster. Needs to shut up.

McCain works in that he “led the largest squadron in the Navy.” His tone is well modulated. He is very much on target tonight. gives a good account of patriotism and of his own bona fides.

Thompson says change isn’t as important as leadership. Very well done. “We’re going to have to go to the American people and say, ‘here’s the deal.’…” Sounds good

Rudy says some change is good and some bad. Says Barack Obama and Hillary would be bad change. Well done.
