Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva, co-chairman of the House Progessive Caucus, reiterated through a representative Tuesday evening that any health care bill that does not include a government plan will be "unacceptable."

I emailed the congressman's office earlier to get a reaction to news that the Senate Finance Committee rejected two proposals for a "public option."

"The Congressman feels that any legislation without a public option is unacceptable and he will not support such a plan," spokeswoman Natalie Luna Rose wrote in an email.

Health Care BS - THE PUBLIC OPTION IS SHOVEL READY links to this page. Here’s an excerpt:

…through the heart and a couple of silver bullets to finally get this incredibly bad idea deep-sixed for good. The Dems in the House won’t give up the public option without a fight.  Philip Klein reports that the co-chairman of the House Progessive Caucus says reform sans PO is “unacceptable.” The Congressman feels that any legislation without a public option is unacceptable and he will not…

Damn Republicans!

I am tempted to say "Fool" but I won't...
You know, there is legislation afoot to make so called "hate speech" to apply to the internet. So by saying "damn Republicans" you are probably doing that!
Remember: this is NOT about health care; it is only about power and staying in office indefinitely.
the House Progressive Caucus is a bad name.
Why don't we call it what it is: House Socialist Caucus or better yet: House Communist Caucus.

Member of La Raza no doubt.

Democrats - mmm,mmmm,mmmm etc.

Idiots - they keep harpooning the white whale.

The white whale - America - is making a decided U-turn towards their dingbat socialist good ship lollipop.

This liberal moron and his equally fanatical left wing Democrats will be made to understand the meaning of "NOT ACCEPTABLE" beginning with the congressional elections of 2010. They and their idea of taxpayer funding/support of indigents' and illegals' healthcare is the only thing I find "UNACCEPTABLE". If thiese morons want to provide healthcare, housing, or whatever to these society-leeches, then I'd suggest that they [ie the Rockefellers, Kennedys, etc] should WHIP OUT THEIR OWN WALLETS AND CREDIT CARDS in order to pay for it, and get their hands off of mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get your hands off my health care crooks!!!

Flee| 9.30.09 @ 4:10PM

Good. This should put this whole charade to rest. If it can't be passed maybe status quo will be the result. Sounds like democracy is starting to work after all.

see rush limbaugh website today. He says government run health care will pass next week.
