I try really really hard to avoid the term "Orwellian," but I
can't help it here: This is Orwellian word use on steroids to the
googleplex degree. Byron York
reports that the White House is calling the firing of
AmeriCorps IG Gerald Walpin an act of "political courage." When
thuggery is called courage, when corruption is called integrity,
when ignoring the spirit of the law is called judiciousness....
well, then, that's when this firing becomes defensible. This is a
sinister White House.
Just a note: How simple would it have been to give a nice
(non-pecuniary) inducement to entice Mr. Walpin into retirement,
considering that he almost retired on his own five months ago
anyway and had said he would reconsider his status at the end of
the month? Easy as winning a poker hand when being deal four
aces, that's how easy. But instead these thugs at the White House
fired the guy, without proper notice. What are they trying to
hide? Perhaps they fear he will stay on and be around to expose
the corruption when they try to send contracts through ACORN or
turn various grantees into a political army. That's what they are
surely trying to hide.
These people must, by all legal means, be stopped. Cold. They are
dangerous.
Good article, but I believe the spelling is 'googolplex'

Chicago Thug Fascism.
It's gotten to the point where the duty of the next
Administration will be to go beyond undoing the damage and
thuggery of the present. It will be necessary for Congress to
actually roll-back the powers of the Presidency itself.

Chicago Thug Fascism.
When an administration:
- fires private sector CEO's,
- threatens private individuals with ACORN "pitchforks",
- loots private equity wholesale to redistribute assets to Union
supporters,
- pillages auto dealerships according to Party-line
donations,
- uses the FDA to interfere with the clients of a talk-show
host,
- fires Inspectors General contrary to Law,
- prints and looses hundreds of billions (with a B) of
dollars
- pushes for centralized computer controls on home heating and
cooling,
- distributed to only G-d knows where and saddles my children to
debt they can never repay...
The litany just gets longer every day.
There are very real consequences of the the actions being taken
against our Constitution and our way of life that need vigorous,
unrelenting opposition. We need to remind ourselves that passion
and even anger are not the enemies of reason. Rather they are
Nature's appropriate response to the sinister.
I feel in a surreal place. This Administration's and Congress'
grabbings and takings are the stuff of a script for a really
cheesy pulp fiction. But it's real.
Of Scipio The Return Of Scipio writing not for fortune or fame but because God is watching Home About Comments Policy Facts His Master’s Voice Posted on June 19th, 2009 by Scipio Quin Hillyer does not like Barack Obama. He is in good company. Tens of millions of Americans do not like Barack Obama. The very kindest and most gentle thing I can say about Barack Obama is that I do not like him. I do not…

We need a William Wallace.
The more he gets away with the harder he will be to stop. He is
pushing the envelope to see how far he can go.

There will be no impeachment with the Leftists in control of the
House and Senate. They cheer the advance of his tyranny. Does
this look like Italy in the 30's to anyone else?
Becky| 6.19.09 @ 9:02AM
Catherine, I agree. That is why he is rushing to get as much in
place as possible. I blame the press. They just seem so lazy and
stupid. I know they agree with him politically, but they don't
even try to play devil's advocate with him. Nor correct his
historical inaccuracies. Unless of course, they also suffer the
same deficit.

We need to start thinking and planning on how we will correct the
damage after this miscreant leaves office. Picking up the pieces
of what's left of America and putting them back together will be
very difficult and expensive.

Capone and Dillinger were 'thugs'----these morons are just slimy
Chicago-style politicians, and the Americans who voted them into
office are sadly stupid [and will pay the price for same]!!!!!
I found their claim of courage both crazy making and silly:

I have a sister who loves Obama. Even before the inauguration she
saw an IMPEACH OBAMA bumper sticker that had her seeing red. I
didn't rag her about it for the sake of peace in the family. But
anyone who followed that election closely knew that we are in for
a wild ride. I also realized that Obama's lack of respect for the
law and for others coupled with his irrational belief that he can
get away with anything makes impeachment an ever present
possibility.
…And the Washington Times has found another reason for His Oneness to be anxious to be rid of the pesky Walpin. HotAir has more , and don’t miss this blistering piece by Quinn Hillyer and this one . Possibly related posts: (automatically generated) A quick prequel to my interview with Professor Carol Swain interesting quote White House Comments on Firing of AmeriCorps Inspector General Grassley…
I have been actively involved in the Virtual goods and services
market since 2001 where I started selling Everquest Platinum on
Ebay, now I am the owner and COO of www.mmo365.com. We have seen
much growth in this market and the potential is endless, however
there are many misconceptions that are found all over the net
about the gold farmer, about the concepts behind a lot of what
goes on in the industry.
Currently in the MMO market there is a constant battle between
game developer and seller which usually ends in mass account
bannings. These could cost a company such as Mmo365 tens of
thousands of dollars of lost product in a day. I wonder when
there will actually be discussion about that side of the
industry, about the companies like mine that are providing a
service that makes peoples experience in the game enjoyable, we
keep the players playing. Yet the developers insist on battling
the market and what I consider stealing money from us. If it
wasn’t for our market these game companies would see a
significant amount of people leave their games because the
players just don’t have the time or patience to sit around and
grind out levels or farm gold. Some players as well as developers
will say that that the game was not meant to have this sort of
activity go on. But who is it really meant for? If I enjoy
playing WoW and use it as an escape from the day to day madness,
almost like therapy yet I don’t have the time like my in game
friends to spend on it then I should have the right to be able to
play the game how I want to play it. If that includes buying
Powerleveling or WOW Gold than that is how the game was meant to
be played by me. Really when you step back and think about it
Blizzard is just looking at this as a payday, they know they will
not get rid of the RMT market and the China gold farm. They also
know that every time they ban a “farmer” that same person will
buy another wow cdkey. Is that right? I don’t think so! Talk
about Plight of the Chinese farmer, Blizzard is the biggest cause
putting many of the Chinese production companies out of business
and the workers back on the streets in China. I know people will
argue that our market breaks the EULA of these games however this
is a consumer driven market, if the demand was not there this
market would not exist.
