The ever-expanding regulatory state will drive Obamism. This,
from a Wall Street Journal
news alert:
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued a finding that
carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases pose a danger to the
public, setting the stage for a battle over regulations that
could have far-reaching impact on the U.S. economy.
Unless superceded by Congressional action, the EPA finding
potentially could lead to a wave of regulations across the
economy, putting stricter emissions limits on a wide range of
enterprises from power plants and oil refineries to automobiles
and cement makers.

Mysteries of the Left:
- Life springs from non-life
- Pregnant women are carrying, umm, something, umm, not a human exactly, but something I guess
- Gas we expel naturally through our noses thousands of times a day is dangerous
Amazing.

Well, looks like we are one step closer to backing ourselves into a corner we can only get out of by embracing nuclear power. Bring it! After all, how many Americans were killed last year mining coal vs. to total death toll to nuclear energy here in America? Think about it, people.

L. Ross - no kidding! And it is curious - our pres. seems not very interested in nuke power for us, but is all for nuke power for Iran, Quatar (sp?), and wants to make Kyrzygtstan (oh, heavens, the spelling) some kind of regional nuclear fuel hub!!
So nukes are fine for proven or possibly unstable ME / Islamic regimes but not for us.
Just plain odd.
