We are pleased to rechristen The American Spectator‘s blog this morning. What was previously known as AmSpecBlog is now The Spectacle, complete with new logo. The name and logo change is one of the last few components of our website overhaul — you may notice some other, small improvements throughout the site this morning.
The good news is that, beyond the new name, nothing about this blog will change. The URL is the same, the RSS feed is the same, the twitter handle is the same, and the format is the same (beyond the updates we’ve added in the past few weeks) — in other words, you can access, read, and follow The Spectacle in all the same ways you followed AmSpecBlog. One thing that hasn’t changed is the cast of bloggers. We will still feature all the same writers, as well as the coverage that we have offered for the past six years (to the day).
We hope you appreciate the new changes, both to The Spectacle and to the rest of the Spectator‘s site. If you have any comments, questions, or general feedback on the new-look blog, please leave them in the comments to this post, or send me an email. We look forward to your feedback.
