The Center for American Progress is hosting an event tomorrow called Generation 9/11: The New Generation Rises.
The moderator is blogissimo supremo Matthew Yglesias, a fellow at the Center’s sister organization, the Center for American Progress Action Fund.
By why choose this fine fellow over another CAP Action Fund fellow with so much more expertise on the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001?
I’m talking about Van Jones. He’s that self-described communist who said 9/11 was a Republican campaign ad. Well no, he didn’t say that exactly. That was Keith Olbermann.
Mr. Jones signed a 9/11 “truther” petition that accused the Bush administration of orchestrating the attacks for political advantage. (As green jobs “czar,” he was also complicit in the Obama administration’s plan to turn succeeding 9/11s into celebrations of bike paths and solar energy, as I note in my book Subversion Inc.)
With all due respect to Mr. Yglesias, he should immediately step aside and let Mr. Jones run the event.
Think of the fundraising potential, John Podesta!

BOOK PLUG: America needs to know that ACORN is restructuring in time to help re-elect President Obama in 2012. Obama used to work for ACORN and represented the group in court as its lawyer. These radical leftists who use the brutal, in-your-face, pressure tactics of Saul Alinsky want to destroy America as we know it and will use any means to do it.
