Tribe Wins Ten in a Row
by

The Cleveland Indians became the first MLB team to win 10 in a row during the 2016 season with an 8-3 victory over the Atlanta Braves.

The AL Central has been MLB’s most volatile division. In April, it was the Chicago White Sox. In May, the defending World Series champion Kansas City Royals regained their form. But it is the Tribe that has surged in June. In addition to their ten straight wins, they are 19-6 this month and have a five game lead over the Royals.

But given how volatile the division has been it is possible that July could the Detroit Tigers’ month. But the Tribe keeps up its pitching they will be tough to overcome. Going into tonight’s action, the Indians led the AL with a 3.51 team ERA.

Wouldn’t it be crazy if the Indians & Cubs met in the World Series? I predicted this match up last year. Imagine if they won. First, the Caveliers then the Indians. It would be Cleveland’s best year – ever. But I’m getting ahead of myself. The Indians have only played 75 games. We’ve got a long way to go.
