The New Rules
by

There is much sad truth in our Debra Saunders’ “You Don’t Have to be a Bigot to be a Racist Anymore.” One used to have to be a member of the KKK, a segregationist, or a paid-up member of the Lester Maddox fan club to be labeled a racist. Now simply disagreeing with a leftist, or with any item of the leftist agenda, will do it for you.

When dealing with leftists, there are two rules that are relatively new but rigidly enforced now, to wit: If you are white and a conservative (1) You are racist unless you can prove you aren’t, and (2) You can’t prove you aren’t.

Simply being white is not a hate crime. Yet. But the left is working on it.
