Watch it live here: CSPAN COMEY HEARING
“It’s possible that the Secretary of State didn’t know what the ‘C’ meant in an email.”
A reasonable person would draw the conclusion that a former First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State didn’t know what a classified email looks like? Here’s Politico:
FBI Director James Comey told lawmakers on Thursday that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was not particularly “sophisticated” when it came to the treatment of classified information, despite the high level of sensitivity involved in her role.
Clinton wasn’t sophisticated enough to understand classified markings except for the time she instructed staff to strip docs of (c) markings

Some of the hearing is laugh-out-loud worthy. According to Jim Cooper, Democrat, Tennessee, said that Director Comey has a lifelong career of “speaking truth to power.”
Laugh or cry:
Comey said he hasn’t “parsed” @HillaryClinton’s statements to see whether she lied to the FBI. Is this guy for real?

Dear God, Comey admits under oath her attorneys scrubbed devices in a way to prevent forensic recovery.. Astounding

There are so many gems here but the FBI Director’s testimony strains credulity.
Update:
Video of Trey Gowdy dismantling Jim Comey’s testimony.
Here is Will Hurd, Republican from Texas:
No transcript. No recording. Not “under oath.”
So according to Comey, the FBI "interviewed" Hillary Clinton and forgot to record or transcribe it? What an absolute joke.

Take home from the hearing:
Hillary showed no "intent."
She accidentally installed a server in her home, then accidentally wiped it clean during an investigation.— WH PRESS SECRETARY (@weknowwhatsbest) July 6, 2016
She didn't recognize the markings she instructed aides to remove on at least two occasions. Heckuva job, Comey. https://t.co/7RToWOomZ7

Consequences of the FBI’s actions: others using the “Hillary Defense” to avoid prosecution for treating secure materials “carelessly.”
