Via Michelle Malkin, I see that I missed the sad news that the fearless and peerless radio commentator Ron Smith died. A host on Baltimore’s WBAL, Smith was gracious whenenver I was a guest and one of the most thoughtful polemicists on talk radio. Smith was a strong conservative who was unafraid to buck the party line when the Bush era GOP began to pursue a Wilsonian foreign policy and Johnsonian domestic policy. But what would expect of someone who would defend the conservative point of view in liberal Charm City? Smith will be missed.
