Evangelical legend Billy Graham died today at age 99. He counseled presidents and convicted thousands and brought them to Christ.
There is a way to be reminded of his good works and be inspired to do your own: Download the YouVersion Bible App and follow Billy Graham’s daily devotional Bible Study plan called “Day by Day with Billy Graham.” It’s excellent. I’m on my second pass through this devotional. It’s timely and a great daily reminder of basic Christian truths and provides plentiful meditation fodder.
I’m disturbed that Billy Graham’s passing is receiving so little notice. It seems to be another sign that the culture is lost to the transient, sugar-coated candy of entertainment and outrage. Great and humble men like Billy Graham are dismissed.
His passing begs the question: Is America a Nation Under God anymore? With Tweets like this, I wonder:
The big news today is that Billy Graham was still alive this whole time. Anyway, have fun in hell, bitch.
