Since Mathew RJ Brodsky’s column on the front page touches on John Kerry’s longtime Assad apologism, it’s worth noting that yesterday Kerry finally admitted that Assad “obviously is not a reformer now.” Kerry maintains that this isn’t inconsistent with his previous statements; he’s being either dishonest or delusional (I suspect it’s mostly the latter).
