If Debbie W.S. is Ousted As DNC Chair, We Can Thank Bernie

Bernie Sanders is not going gently into that good night. Bernie told supporters via teleconference he and Hillary Clinton “have strong disagreements on some vzery important issues.”

One of those issues is DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. Given how she rigged the primaries and debates against Sanders, the Vermont socialist has no fondness for her and wants her out as DNC Chair. This isn’t exactly a surprise given that Bernie has made a point of endorsing Wasserman-Schultz’s primary opponent, Tim Canova.

Honestly, I’m surprised that W-S has lasted this long. She’s been there for five long years. Every time she speaks, it’s like the sound of fingernails running down a blackboard. We can thank President Obama for that. But Hilary has effectively stripped her of her authority and now Nancy Pelosi doesn’t know her anymore. She’ll probably remain DNC Chair through the election to save face. The writing is on the wall and we can thank Bernie Sanders for it.
