Mike Huckabee invoked the Holocaust when speaking about Iran’s nuclear deal yesterday.
This president’s foreign policy is the most feckless in American history. It is so naive that he would trust the Iranians. By doing so, he will take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven. This is the most idiotic thing, this Iran deal. It should be rejected by both Democrats and Republicans in Congress and by the American people. I read the whole deal. We gave away the whole store. It’s got to be stopped.
I generally don’t like Holocaust comparisons. After all, it can be argued that the Jews who were led to the concentration camps could not defend themselves. The same cannot be said for Israel. However, there is a provision in the Iran nuclear deal which obligates the U.S. and its allies to stop efforts to sabotage and undermine it. So what happens when Israel seeks a military solution against Iran? Would we become Iran’s air force? When Marco Rubio put the question to John Kerry the other day the Secretary of State froze in his tracks, but ultimately did not disavow the possibility.
If Iran acquires a nuclear weapon it will use it against Israel. Therefore it is in Israel’s best interest that Iran doesn’t build one. But if Israel sees fit to ensure its survival and the Obama Administration interferes on Iran’s behalf and Iran eventually builds and uses a nuclear weapon against Israel then I’m afraid Mike Huckabee is absolutely right.
