Could Trump Throw a Curve on His VP Pick?
by

This morning, Melissa posted the speaker’s list for next week’s Republican National Convention and she notes that Indiana Governor Mike Pence isn’t on it which naturally fuels speculation that he will be the VP pick. Both Newt Gingrich and Chris Christie, the men identified as Trump’s other potential VP picks, have been allotted speaking slots.

Picking Pence makes sense. He’s a boring, safe pick and won’t take the spotlight away from Trump.

But if we’ve learned anything from Trump over the past year or so is to expect the unexpected.

It is worth noting that Sarah Palin does not appear on the speaker’s list. Could lightning strike twice?

It’s been a strange political season full of curveballs. Why would Trump stop throwing them now?
