I just lost an entire attempted post on the Kentucky Derby and don’t have time to re-post the whole thing. But the upshot is this: I’m aghast that ArchArchArch drew the rail, which usually kills a horse’s chances at the Derby, but I am boxin him anyway with Twice the Appeal. And IF he avoids the curse of the rail, I am predicting ArchArchArch to win the whole Triple Crown.
My friend and correspondent, horse racing enthusiast and expert Jay Swiatek, thinks otherwise. He’s going with a trifecta box of Nehro, Midnight Interlude, and Mucho Macho Man.
We’ll see. Seeseesee, that is.
