If the $400 million in cash sent to Iran by the Obama Administration in January was for the purposes of paying off a debt to Iran dating back to 1979 and not ransom money to release American hostages, as has been stated by White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest, then why were these funds sent in an airlift that was kept secret from the American public & Congress until today by way of the Wall Street Journal?
