A few facts about the economy and about life and politics.
One: there are no unemployed physicians or so few as to be zero in statistical terms.
Two: Ditto for dentists.
Three: Ditto for law enforcement professionals such as blood spatter analysts or persons who can analyze voices on 911 calls. There are almost no unemployed plumbers or electricians or IT repair men and women.
Four: There is very close to 100 percent unemployment among would-be professional singers and actors.
Five: There is a commercial running for Joe Biden that says he pulled us out of the 2009 crash by leading the largest stimulus program in U.S. history. This is just plain fantasy. It never happened. Mr. Biden might as well say he led the assault on Omaha Beach on D-Day June 6, 1944. We were pulled out of the crash by the TARP program, which shored up banks and other financial entities and lent billions to large corporations. Biden had as little to do with it as he did with the moon landing in 1969. He might as well say he was John the Baptist and baptized people in the name of Jesus.
Six: There is another ad line from Mr. Biden saying he would create a national program for breaking the face mask shortage. There is no face mask shortage. We as a nation are overflowing with face masks.
Seven: In yet another TV ad line, Mr. Biden says he will create a national program to fight COVID. What does he think is happening now?
Truths: It pays immensely to be well educated in fields that people need assistance in. It pays close to zero for jobs that are fun. Democrats can make up anything and run that thing on national TV commercials. They’ll probably succeed in kicking out a president who tried to stand up to the academic/media colossus. Then we’ll have “leadership” that hates America the way the rioters do. Good time to be in Sandpoint, Idaho.
