Gov. Christie on Climate

by

Driving home from DC late last night with my satellite radio tuned to Mark Levin’s show, I heard a caller add to Mark’s inquiries about Gov. Chris Christie’s positions on key national issues, noting Christie’s power grab of moving the revenues from a cap-and-trade scheme (colloquially known as RGGI, or “Reggie”) on-budget. To which Mark kindly replied I had already made the point. As AmSpec readers recall from this.

Today we read that someone has asked the good Governor about the issue, and he said the science is still out.

Which, in a rational world, means he will kill the tax which — even if you accept every assumption and climate model of the alamrists — is climatically meaningless. According to everyone. Like Kyoto. Green Jobs central planning. The whole shebang. There is a … wait for it.. ‘consensus’ on that.

Leaders lead. Let’s watch and see.
