By now everyone has likely seen the Carly Fiorina sheep ad. Crazy? Sure! Over the top? Definitely! Totally unprecedented? Nope. I have a feeling someone on Fiorina’s staff must be a B horror flick fan because the campaign’s attack has a great 2007 New Zealand pedigree, as seen below.
The silver lining for Tom Campbell, I suppose, is that Black Sheep ultimately serves as a cautionary tale against riling up both regular as well as genetically cross-bred man-sheep. Also, some of Fiorina’s campaign war chest clearly has to go to paying some Kiwis royalties…
