Complaints about Mitt Romney’s monetary advantage seem to be missing something. No, Romney won’t be able to outspend Barack Obama the way he can Rick Santorum or Newt Gingrich. But the flip side of that argument is Santorum and Gingrich would have to make a case that they can be financially competitive with Obama. Otherwise what is to prevent Obama from beating them with big bucks the way Romney has?
