Another Newt Gingrich win? Mitt Romney has announced he will release his tax returns Tuesday. He acknowledged the delay was a “distraction” and a mistake. Given that many of Romney’s top surrogates were calling on him to release the information, it isn’t clear that he had much choice. Though you will note that he isn’t exactly picking a slow news day, with the State of the Union coming that night.
