Iraq is Worth the Fight

A fairly new Internet publication called is providing one heck of a public service by setting up fairly lengthy written debates on important issues, giving writers space to really elucidate the subject matter at hand. I was honored to be asked to participate in one of their early efforts, here. The question is, Is Iraq Worth Fighting For? Robert Dreyfuss of The Nation says no, of course; I argue in the affirmative. In the process, I defend the notion of the United States as a moral actor on the world stage.
