Larry Flynt and Planned Parenthood… Hillary’s Strange Bedfellows
by

What do America’s porn leader and abortion leader share in common? They’re both ready for Hillary, and then some. They’ve both enthusiastically endorsed Hillary Clinton for president of the United States.

I’m speaking of two unlikely bedfellows: Larry Flynt and Planned Parenthood. America’s porn provider and America’s abortion provider. A man who is filthy rich from filming women provocatively, and the feminists who hoist the banner of women’s rights.

One would think that Larry Flynt and his buddies at the “Hustler” empire would be the antithesis of the girls at Planned Parenthood. What could possibly bring them together to rally around Hillary Clinton, a supposed symbol of women’s rights?

The answer, ladies and gentlemen, is simple: abortion.

Abortion is their common cause. That’s where they unite. And they realize that no single individual ever this close to the presidency has been so possessed by a fanaticism for abortion quite like Hillary Clinton.

“As your president, I will always have your back,” Clinton vowed to Planned Parenthood. She heartily embraced the century-old organization’s first-ever endorsement in a presidential primary. She glows that she is “honored” by the endorsement.

Cecile Richards, Planned Parenthood’s dedicated director, contends that, “Everything Planned Parenthood has believed in and fought for over the past 100 years is on the ballot.” It sure is. That’s why the organization is ready for Hillary, past proud recipient of Planned Parenthood’s highest honor, its Margaret Sanger Award, named for the organization’s famed champion of “race improvement.”

Whether defending the organization’s taxpayer funding or literal business of mass production of baby parts, Hillary has their back.

That brings me back to Larry Flynt, a man who has made a fortune filming women on their back.

Flynt’s endorsement came last year. He was way ahead of Planned Parenthood. Abortion is also vital to his business.

“I’m endorsing Hillary Clinton for president,” Flynt exclaimed. He explained why, echoing precisely the thinking of Planned Parenthood and liberals generally: “If Hillary gets in, chances are she’s going to have an opportunity to appoint two, maybe three [Supreme Court] justices… and we could shift the balance there.”

Precisely. And the weight of liberals on the high court directly relates to how Flynt (and Planned Parenthood) is permitted to do “business.”

Larry Flynt and his industry ache for widely available abortion. When one of the pornographer’s “performers” accidentally gets pregnant, the “Hustler” empire needs the doors of Planned Parenthood clinics greased and open. When his male “performers” or Flynt himself mistakenly impregnate a woman who serves as a pleasure unit or to fatten bank accounts, they need abortion to discard the undesired byproduct — to keep that girl’s figure slim. They’re placing their hope in Hillary to keep the spigot flowing.

If this offends you, dear reader, well, it should. Feminists, especially, should be appalled.

Larry Flynt engages in an obvious sexual objectification of women for primal male-centered reasons. This ought to infuriate feminists like Mrs. Clinton and the women who run Planned Parenthood. But as Flynt and the boys longingly look at naked women, pro-choice feminists look the other way. Flynt is tolerated because he supports their highest priority: legalized abortion. Thus, he will not be repudiated let alone excoriated. Just as with Planned Parenthood’s endorsement, the liberal media will not demand that Hillary Clinton repudiate the Flynt endorsement. No way.

It reminds of how feminists gave a wink and a pass to the sexual conduct of Bill Clinton. For feminists, the sexual sins of the likes of Bill and Larry Flynt, once described by Washington Post columnist Michael Kelly as “the president’s pornographer” (or by The American Spectator as the Clintons’ “Minister of Culture”), are forgiven at the altar of “abortion rights.” Through the political sacrament of abortion, there is full remission of sins. Total redemption is granted to men who support a woman’s “right to choose.” In the feminist church, there is forgiveness plainly not available to a pro-life Republican man.

I’ll never forget the statement from Nina Burleigh, who covered the White House for Time during Bill Clinton’s presidential indulgences. Blithely excusing the president of the United States turning a college intern into his play-thing, Burleigh grinned that she personally would be happy to give the president oral sex “just to thank him for keeping abortion legal.”

A chuckling Larry Flynt and gang would applaud that sentiment. And now, the porn kingpin is banking on Bill Clinton’s wife to get to the Oval Office to protect his own sexual indulgences.

Larry Flynt hopes that Hillary Clinton has his back, too — just as she has Planned Parenthood’s back.
