Lindsey Graham just can’t stop talking.
After making a fool out of himself yesterday when he said he wasn’t sure if bloggers should have First Amendment protections, he was back at it again this morning.
On Fox and Friends, Graham said, “I’m glad that activity is going on.” He said he is sure “it is limited to tracking people who are suspected to be terrorists and who they may be talking to.”
Yesterday, news broke that the NSA demanded three months of data from Verizon for all calls originating in America. That doesn’t exactly seem limited to suspected terrorists, despite Graham’s assurances.
With comments like this, Graham is ensuring a strong primary fight. His constituents are already mad over his policy positions, and making silly comments isn’t going to help.
