Another creative New Orleans public official has his day in court. The AP reports:

Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin has been indicted on 21 corruption charges including wire fraud, bribery and money laundering. … The counts also include filing false tax returns and conspiracy.

The American Spectator has learned through an exclusive Beltway contact that the FTC is no longer considering a lawsuit against Illinois for monopolizing bigtime machine politics. The past five years have borne a renaissance for the unsmiling, businesslike, progressive technocrat. As our friend Ben Stein would say, how boring. Mr. Nagin’s naked crookedness is a diverting change of pace.

He is and always was a CROOK and deserves indictment and conviction. He and Louisiana's governor completely and ineptly abondoned their state during Katrina and the eventual damages are partially due to these Democrat CROOKS which the people of that state [and others as well as the people of this nation as a whole] vote for and elect and they have no one but themselves to blame for the current and future demise that will result from their combined/collective STUPIDITY!!!!!

Let me play the role of Devil's (Democrat) advocate:

"You racist homophobic pig! It was all George Bush's fault you ignorant, gun clinging moron!"

A bittersweet moment for the mayor of Chocolate Town (bittersweet-chocolate...get it?).

How ironic he wanted to make Nawlins' a "Chocolate Town" yet took his "high yellow" self to Frisco, Texas...not exactly a mecca for our fine African American citizens.

A bad mayor but great democrat: Hypocritical, corrupt, and incompetent.
