After defending the controversial DHS report that labeled all
conservatives, libertarians, and returning veterans as potential
right-wing terrorists umpteen times, Homeland Security Secretary
Janet Napolitano quietly dropped the report in the
circular file.
That was the report,
apparently inspired by the paranoid conspiracy theorists of the
radical left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center, that told
police to keep an eye on people opposed to enlarging the
redistributive state and spreading the wealth around.
Do ya'll think we are now off her list?

Well, in the words of the western singer, "when Ms. Liberty
starts shakin' her fist...we gonna' light you up like the fourth

The report served its purpose--we know what they're thinking now,
and it ain't pretty.

I read the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Report with
horror and agree with the Texican that "pulling" the report from
the Internet does not signify that the DHS has changed its
viewpoint one iota. The removal of the report from the public eye
reveals that the Homeland Secretary was politically embarrassed
by the publicity and the justifiable outrage generated by the
Report.
This unclassified document warns local and state law enforcement
about the potential breeding grounds of "right wing extremists"
among the pro-life movement, who believe that the
constitutionally protected right to life begins at conception;
among limited government advocates, who stand for wiser
government spending and less wasteful taxation; and among
returning military veterans, who risk their lives to protect our
constitutional rights.
Ironic, that the report names as potential terrorists the same
military veterans who are serving on the forefront of the battle
against the real terrorists--those found on foreign
battlefields--the same terrorists who brazenly attacked America
on 9/11 and killed 3000 innocent people. (Recall, this event
created the impetus for the formation of the Department of
Homeland Security. ) Ironic, that law enforcement officials, who
received this Report , include many patriotic veterans equally
defamed by this document.
Perhaps DHS should issue a report warning America about the
dangers posed by "left wing extemists". This group of terrorists
include hate-mongering "pastors" like Jeremiah Wright, who preach
for the downfall of the United States of America. This group also
includes domestic terrorists like Bill Ayers, who killed police
officers and never served a much deserved prison sentence. "Left
wing terrorists" also should include agents of communist "change"
, such as members of Acorn, who are being investigated for voter
registration fraud in numerous states and who are preparing to
use federal TARP money to jerrymander voting districts during the
next U.S. Census and swing the 2010 mid-term elections.
And let's not forget the greatest left wing terrorists of all:
the pro-death abortion advocates, who believe that an innocent
baby can legally have its brain sucked out of the base of its
skull during its partial delivery. Let us not also forget to
include a former Illinois State Senator, who supported a bill
that would have permitted children, who survived a botched
abortion, to be left to suffer and die.

Janet Napolitano probably ditched the report because she wants to
replace David Souter.
