Rasmussen has done another poll of registered voters about their views on global warming, just three months after a surprise revelation that more believe that natural causes drive climate than humans. Here are the findings reported Friday:
Climate change caused by planetary trends: 48%
Climate changed caused by human activity: 34%
Other reason: 7%
Aren’t sure: 11%
Compare that to responses reported on January 19:
Climate change caused by planetary trends: 44%
Climate changed caused by human activity: 41%
Other reason: 7%
Aren’t sure: 9%
So in the space of just three months, the percentage of those polled who believe humans drive climate change dropped seven percentage points from an already low 41 percent, while those who are confident that natural causes influence climate more increased by four percentage points.
If this represented an actual election it would be called a landslide of historic proportions. I mean really — only one-third of people believe humans are the chief cause of climate change?
Anyone ready to cave in to EPA, Waxman or the president on this issue ought to have his head examined.

Let's see: 1/33 ... that's the human contribution ... of ~0.4 of 1/10th of 1% CO2 molar concentration of atmospheric gases. [There's vastly more argon.] What's the concentration of the most prominent greenhouse gas - H2O - 15, 20%, something like that? More and more people want to see a causal relationship between the human contributions to carbon dioxide levels and warming, and why water vapor and cloud cover is an insignificant factor. The more Team Algore avoids demonstrating convincing science, the more the rest of us smell the steaming green stuff.

I recently read a book by Brian Fagan, a Phd. in anthropology, titled "The Great Warming." In the introduction he states that science has acknowledged that humans cause global warming. The rest of book then directly refutes that statement. The Medieval Warming Period (approx. 1000-1300 AD) was pre-industrial, not to mention pre-automotive. He also cites convincing evidence that temperatures were warmer then than now. This is called cognitive dissonance, and apparently affects Phds.

The IPCC is a political organization.
Carbon dioxide, which you exhale with every breath, is plant food, not a pollutant.
Mankind's total contribution to atmospheric carbon dioxide is negligible.
Carbon dioxide is a weak greenhouse gas.
Global atmospheric temperature changes are caused by changes in insolation (solar activity) and oceanic energy exchange.
Glaciers advance and retreat in cycles and in response to (solar-driven) changes in temperature.
The Antarctic is getting colder and total Antarctic ice volume is increasing.
Sea levels are not rising (well they are, a little, 4 inches in a century).
Arctic sea ice is growing, not disappearing.
You forgot the polar bears, btw, who are doing fine with large population increases in the last fifty years.
The question is, why such hysteria over something so abstract and so inherently indefinite? Some kind of mental disorder? Would you have been burning witches five hundred years ago? Probably.

Setting aside the crassness of your statements, your logic indicates a profound ignorance of the issue or belies the possibility that you are part of the scam. I suggest a google search on the words: "scientists against global warming" do some basic reading on this before responding on emotion, filled with propaganda. That global consensus you refer to are "scientists" who've sold out to the world-wide political machine. The following link is to an org. which has created a petition which 31,000 (actual) world-class scientists have signed regarding the (fabricated) issue of (human activity based) global warming.
Their research should be of interest to you if you really want to be educated on this issue and not parrot what the global elite have pounded in your head.

You better hope you are rich, because this man-made global warming lie will triple your utility bill, cause hyperinflation beyond what printing more money will do, and "cap and trade" will outsource your job to the nearest 3rd world country not bound by the "cap and trade tax." Furthermore, it will not reduce any man-made carbon footprint, it will only divert the same CO2 emissions to another country when they produce what we no longer can. Science is not conducted by consensus. Science, true science, is conducted by contrarians who ask, "Why does that happen?" A true scientist is someone who throws out the status quo and looks behind the curtains and under the rocks for the real answers to the mysteries confronting him (or her). No scientist worth the title would ever willingly sit in a UN conference hall and blindly nod like a moron while some shyster like al bore and his snake-oil medicine show tries to convert the unfaithful, threatening hell-fire and damnation (now that's appropriate) on the unbelievers. This topic has caused a virtual witch-hunt in academia, and any "denyer" is hunted down and tossed out. But now, with the sun-spot activity at an all-time low, and a nice chilly, wet spring, and record low temps virtually everywhere in the world last winter, and with snow in the most unlikely of places, al and his morons are really scrambling to pull off the scam of the millenium before the US ices over.
Unfortunately, gore is what happens when a country like the US has a population of science and math illiterates stumbling around. There are people who are actually proud of the fact that they don't understand even basic science, but they are quick to get on their knees when gore demands homage, because they are STUPID.
When gore and the missus move into a one-bedroom apartment, and walk to work or take the subway, then maybe I will listen. And if he came clean and told people how he had set himself and his buddies up to reap BILLIONS from "cap-and-trade" I might think about what he has to say. The irrefutable long term facts point out that the Earth is heating up, the Oceans are going acidic, the permafrost is melting, Greenlands vast Ice Fields are melting, Great chunks of Antartica ice are breaking off and the Artic is slowly losing the permant ice sheet and is getting thinner every year. How much evidence does it take to convince the dunderheads where all this is heading ?

The Earth is not heating up it has been cooling for several years now.
Although most Glaciers have been retreating for Centuries, people that know what they are talking about are not nearly so quick to blame people.

Some of us are old enough to remember the 1970s when "All reputable scientists agree that the new Ice Age has begun." They were wrong then, they were wrong when they said that CO2 causes the planet to heat up. The U.S. government steals the fruits of our labor - via taxes on wages - which is unconstitutional, does scientific research and then hides the knowledge from the populace in order to hold power over us. They know what is going to happen as far as future climate changes go and will keep this knowledge for themselves and their own to the detriment of the rest of us. For example, storing seeds from all over the world in a NORDIC country. Regarding pole shifts, which have occurred in the past, it was estimated that in a future shift, Norway would be where Texas is now, a very good location to grow seeds after a catastrophe, huh? This is a fact. Why are there ruins under thousands of feet under the sea off the coast of Cuba? How did it get there? The people who wrote the Kolbrin tried to warn the present generation about the "destroyer" which came from space, caused massive flooding and decimated its culture. There are tales of massive flooding from ancient cultures all over the world. The great flood of the bible isn't just a fairy tale.
A good book to read is The Cycle of Cosmic Catastrophes: How a Stone-Age Comet Changed the Course of World Culture by Richard Firestone.
James McCanney's theories of how planets are formed is also excellent reading. All of his books are great. jmccsci.com He was a professor of mathematics at Cornell University. He is totally ignored by the mainstream. (To me, those are the ones to pay attention to). His book on the Weather, Principia Meteorologia, will make you look at how weather is formed in totally different light.
In other words, the governments in the know are going to hang us (the populace) out to dry while they wait it out in their underground cities like the slimy lizards they are.
People in certain positions should start whistleblowing before its too late.
