Our First ‘Red Diaper Baby’ President?
All the pieces fit, so why do historians and biographers ignore the question.

In the fall of 1970, a nine-year-old Obama was introduced to Frank Marshall Davis by Obama’s grandfather, Stanley Dunham, who himself was on the far left. Dunham connected the two because his grandson was lacking a black-male role model. Dunham chose a curious pick as a mentor for his grandson. As I’ve noted in a lengthy profile for The American Spectator, Davis was a literal, card-carrying member of Communist Party USA (card number 47544). He edited and wrote for Party-line publications such as the Chicago Star and the Honolulu Record. Davis did outrageous pro-Soviet propaganda work. In December 1956, the Democrats who ran the Senate Judiciary Committee summoned Davis to Washington to testify on his activities. He pleaded the Fifth Amendment. Even more remarkable, Frank Marshall Davis’s political antics were so radical that the FBI placed him on the federal government’s Security Index, which meant that he could be immediately detained or arrested in the event of a national emergency, such as a war breaking out between the United States and USSR.
Young Obama met with Davis far more often than he met with the senior Obama. I’ve been told by one source that they met weekly, a claim I cannot substantiate. We know they met often, and in lengthy, late-night sessions. David Maraniss, whose source may be Obama himself, contends that Davis and Obama met upwards of 15 times, a conservative estimate that nonetheless would be 15 times the number of times that young Obama met his Kenyan father.
To sum up: Between Obama’s mother, grandfather, Kenyan father, and Frank Marshall Davis, those are some pretty extreme political influences. Some of them were interested in communism, sympathetic to communism, fellow travelers, or even downright Communist Party members. For a young Obama — who I actually feel bad for — this would seem to meet the standards of a Red Diaper Baby environment. And as I lay out in my book, citing especially the testimony of Dr. John Drew, who states that he knew Obama at Occidental College as a fellow Marxist, these political pilgrims produced a kindred spirit who left Hawaii for the wider world in 1979. Today he sits in the Oval Office.
I can hear liberals now: So, if Obama is our first Red Diaper Baby president, but not currently a closet card-carrying communist, why does this matter? That’s nonsense, the typical liberal red herring. Of course, it matters.
It matters just as any biography of any president or leader matters. None of us (liberals included) would ignore the ideological upbringing of any other president. This information gets to the core of the intellectual and political development of our current president, the most powerful man in the world, the man in charge of the mightiest economic engine in history. This man is the product of many radical influences that helped forge him into what he is today. If that man was raised a Red Diaper Baby, then it had some form of meaningful impact that’s worthy of our consideration. Let’s discuss it like adults.

The fact that we know so very little about Obama, even after 4 years as President, is a scathing rebuke on the media. They have done virtually nothing to find out about Obama's past. This is the same media that manufactured (literally) the Bush National Guard documents, and when discovered, Dan Rather had the nerve to say that while the documents may be fake, the facts are true. Willful blindness and willful ignorace cannot be helped. We're finding out now that Obama is exactly what we thought him to be 4 years ago. An honest assessment can make no other determination. The question is if those who voted for Obama in 2008 will willing drink from the Kool-Aid glass again in 2012.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the media is our worse enemy right now. Since Clinton was President they have gotten 'progressively" bold in promoting their agenda, which is the left's agenda. When we clean out the government this election, we must continue the fight by cleaning out the media (stop buying their papers, magazines, etc.); the Church, the Educational system (this will be extremely hard and I look forward to an article that addresses this and how we can do this in our lifetime); and Hollyweird. All five entities have been infested with Red Diaper Babies and the diapers need a changing.

Barack Obama is the third President of the United States to be a traitor, and the first while in Office to be one.
Jimmy Carter is now a traitor, but that is as a result of being turned out of office after the 2nd worst performance in that office in the history of the United States. When in that office he was incompetent, but not traitorous.
John Tyler was the first President of the United States to turn traitor, openly when out of Office. He was also an incompetent when in office, and no one remembers him. Indeed, the only truly capable President inbetween Jackson and Lincoln was the great James K Polk. It goes to show you how strong the design of our system is, that it can tolerate the fact that the majority of our Presidents have been fools, morally deficient, or plain incompetents.

The 4 worst Presidents, in my opinion, have been Buchanan, Hoover, Obama, and Carter, in that order. Hoover and Obama are a close tossup, since Hoover had no real foreign issues of note (Adolf coming into power in 1933), whereas Obama has foreign policy and domestic policy that he is screwing up left and right. One could easily move Obama into the number 2 position. But Buchanan is still the all time Chump. Number 5 would be the traitorous John Tyler.

I am not so sure, "we know so very little..." I do not believe the media did, "virtually nothing," to learn of this man's past. In fact, I am certain the media dug into Obama shortly after his grand speech at the Kerry nomination convention. What I am also certain of, is they found out much of the same as others who delved into his past. The difference being, the media buried what they found and the fact that they have a bigger pulpit, and a much larger, mostly uninformed and uninterested audience, allowed for the fraud to go unnoticed. The media engages in name-calling and poo-poohing anyone who dares question the 'great' Obama. This is not a mere oversight or lack of due diligence on the part of 'journalists.' It is a deliberate effort on the part of progressives in every corner of government, academia and the media to implement a hostile takeover of our nation without a war and to take advantage of the disease of ignorance and apathy instilled in generations of Americans wrought by and through a deliberate 'education system' of the governments long-term planners. This is the fulfillment of the Dewey/Mann dreams brought to you by Woodrow Wilson.

It does not want to know what you think, it wants to tell you what to think. The consensus is the voice of the people and the Mediacrats are cutting its throat, dumping its body in a back alley and turning democracy into their own puppet show.
The media played and preyed on intellectual midgets in the last election. They aren't biased, they are self-imposed 'players'. Their goal isn't to skew stories, its goal is to take over the language of the narrative - THAT'S HOW OBAMA GOT ELECTED.

Hannah Arendt' in "The Origins of Totalitarianism" explains how the Nazis and USSR were totalitarian with the latter coming closest to perfection. It was a combination of isolation and "atomization" of the masses, targeting and persecuting groups and arbitrary terror. In the USSR, if a woman's husband disappeared, the family would never mention him again in public for fear of retaliation.

And a very interesting link with Rachel Maddow, who I don't really have much use for, concerning Obama's plan for "Preventive Detention" of suspected terrorists. It is surprises me that she is so critical of Obama here and in this case I have to agree with her.
However if you go back a few paragraphs in this article by Professor Kengor you will see that the FBI had plans for "preventive detention" for Frank Marshall Davis "in the event of a national emergency, such as war breaking out between the United States and USSR."
It never hurts to mention that this type of totalitarian mentality is not just limited to Nazi's and Communists as we know them but can also infect the minds of the people we consider protectors of our own freedoms.

And detainee abuse was a major recruitment tool for the bad guys. When asked why are you fighting us in Iraq, many of them would answer, detainee abuse, not abiding by our own laws and principles. By creating more enemies this way, the number of additional deaths may be as many as died in the initial attack.

Let me try to explain the criminal justice system to you since your comments indicate you're not really familiar with it. At the time of his arrest, Padilla is an American on American soil entitled to all rights under the Constitution. Being "declared an enemy combatant" doesn't make him one in the eyes of the law, the Fifth Amendment makes it clear that "NO PERSON" emphasis mine, shall be deprived of life liberty etc without DUE PROCESS again emphasis mine and until the government goes through this process people like Padilla remain Americans and do not lose their citizenship. So prior to his conviction he is an American on American soil being indefinitely detained without access to counsel. Now if you remember the case the cirumstances of his detention were not the best. There is strong evidence to suggest that his Eighth Amendment rights were violated and that played a role in his confession and conviction. (The unconstitutional detention itself was said to have played a role in his willingness to cut a deal. Supposedly he just said, fine, I'll plea 0ut just to bring an end to this. We see this all the time in criminal cases like the Chicago Nine. Go to the Innocence Project site and look it up.)
Which is why we insist the government play by the rule even in cases like this. Because the next person to be subject to this could very well be you. Read the Martin Niemollor quote again. Or Tom Paine. We defend the rights of those we hate to secure our own.

Not sure how this fits in with Obama, but you're right about "atomization." The idea was to use fear to create a culture of snitches, so that everyone was afraid of intimate connections with other people. It was a nation of isolated human beings, all loyalty being to the central state, not in terms of content (which could change at any time) but in terms of form. All that matters is that you were loyal to the state, no matter what its policies were.

If I remember correctly Arendt makes a distinction between the time of Lenin and Stalin, ascribing the atomizing method to Stalin's time.

Look up the film "The Soviet Story" recently on DVD. There are a few mistakes in it (as with many documentaries) but the material they produce is as amazing as "The World At War." It's an especially fascinating documentary since it goes into modern day Russia and the Putin regime that Obama is pandering towards.

Lit'le Barry learned all his lessons well, unlike some Red Diaper babies, Obozo was and remains a hard core Marxist and Muslim.
His election will go down as a legacy to the brain-dead '60s generation. His loss in November will be America's first step towards recovery.

It seems as if this is Frank Marshall Davis Monday. The first e-mail I opened was from a friend sending me a YouTube video of a Kiwi - Trevor Loudon - whom he had gone to see give a talk in Tampa about Obama's childhood mentor and Davis' life-long involvement in CPUSA. Loudon has written a book, "Barack Obama and the Enemies Within" detailing his researches into the backgrounds of Obama and his associates like Valierie Jarret. In fact, as I began reading this article, I was half-expecting it to be a review of Loudon's book.

There was always a question on how far to the left Obama really was. Some believed that he was a European-style Socialist, but the warning signs suggested that he was something much more sinister, namely a confirmed believer in Soviet-style totalitarian government in order to achieve the left's sacred agenda of "social justice" and equality. An escapee from the Soviet Union commented in his autobiography that the authorities were always talking about equality, and it was his observation that the authorities had been highly successful in achieving equality for the Soviet citizens as they were all equally poor and equally without freedom.

Whatever cast or hue one wishes to use, the president is clearly not in the American tradition of political philosophy. He believes, it is his Faith, that the elites should rule the plebs who are not sophisticated or educated enough to know what is best for them. The concept of self-government is foreign to his thinking.
This is the Faith of the totalitarian Left. It is anti-American and opposed to the principles of representation and limited government on which the nation was founded. That we have elected a president and a large majority of Congress (both houses) who believe the same is a clear and present danger to our way of life.

Kurtz' book deserves some play here. He makes a pretty good case that eventually Obama ditched the hardcore Marxist/Stalinist leanings of his early youth, basically because it didn't work here (in the US). He became a hardcore progressive instead.
While there were some fierce battles between the two branches eventually the Midwest Academy won the fight because they won battles and procured jobs for their kind. I wish I could remember now who Kurtz cited for this but there is a quote in the book from an MA person who when asked about the split said something to the effect that they agreed about the end goal, just not the path. And that is really the best way to frame Obama's career.

That Obama was a red diaper baby was there for anyone with eyes to see back in 2008. It is passe, however, these days to be an anti-communist. Many millenials, if not most, haven't a clue what a socialist or communist is and probably most of the Gen-Xers don't know either. Since Joe McCarthy's downfall, sounding the "Red Scare" clarion has been a certain way to be immediately branded as a kook and destroy one's general credibility and thus ignored and marginalized. We've seen the same thing done to "Birthers". Throw in groups like "Truthers" who actually are kooks and talking about Red Diaper Babies is a sure way to get ignored and ridiculed.

Obama was a special child since his bi-racial heritage entitled him to a variety of preferential treatment programs. The tragedy is that while Obama enjoyed an elevator to success as an affirmative action recipient in a leftist party, the vast majority of young men similar to him in background wound up in prison. The so-called civil rights movement put more young black men into jail than Democrat Jim Crow policies.
In the meantime, Obama spends little time among black men but mostly golfing in Martha's Vineyard or touring Western Europe. That's so messed up, isn't it?

No one has mentioned the book "The roots of Obamas rage" which documents all mentioned here. Also the Movie, "2016, Obamas America" which is based on the book. I read the book a couple of years ago and gained enough insight to know what would be Obama's move in almost every situation. So far my observations have been correct.

One of the biggest question is " when did little 9 year old Barry Soetoro legally change his name back to Obama? Would that be before he left Indonesia or after he returned to Hawaii? There is no documentation in either country petitioning the court for redress. I'm a little puzzled that the author is only now having the lightbulb come on (must be one of those crummy fluorescent ones being foisted on us these days). His conclusions have been apparent for years, with all new information only confirming the obvious. To Stormy: I hope you learn to think more deeply than you evidenced in your comment. The point being made was that Obama's mother was attracted to this kind of man, and she certainly did influence his development, as she and his grandfather saw to it that the communist ideology shaped his thinking. RCV: the fact that you don't care, and are confident that others don't either, illustrates what we are up against in our current culture--painfully ignorant groupthink which refuses objectivity.

I think that Biden meant to say "my church has certain views, but they're not going to impose them on me", as that would explain his support of abortion, failure to give to charity, and even his support of the death penalty for "drug kingpins".

How can you write a book about Frank Marshall Davis and not realize the probability that he is the sire of Obama? Joel Gilbert has found thirty nudie photos of Ann Dunham taken in Davis' apartment with his furniture as props. The Christmas tree in the background dates the photos. Davis at the time is in his mid-fifties and is a horny old man who is certainly still capable and got lucky. Obama looks like him and not a bit like Obama Sr.
Has anyone checked out this Russian language class story? What counselor would let a first semester freshman take a Russian language class? That seems very weird to me. How about Stanley Dunham, drinking and smoking with a black guy, older than him, who in 1960 was banging his daughter, what a guy.
