Women in the Conservative Media Vanguard

by
‘New York Post’ columnist Miranda Devine on Fox News (Fox News/Youtube.com)

We have brilliant conservative heroines in the media and journalism, and thus in politics (the most germane herein is the “stick-your-neck- out” political subset); this begs the question: are we paying enough attention to them?

I highlight below three women in point: persons unentitled, from ordinary backgrounds, who have foresight, courage, principles, expertise, and honed intuition. Each is, in advance, profoundly influencing our political understanding for the eventual good. Each has succeeded in exposing, against prevailing winds, frauds and injustices that bedevil the nation. (READ MORE: American Journalism Is Decadent and Depraved)

Maria Bartiromo

Maria is a native New Yorker, financial expert, journalist, author, prestigious awardee, and broadcaster. Her weekly morning market reports and Sunday Morning Futures, both on FOX, are noted for news bites and breaking news. Her skilled, serious, probing interviews are put to use by the press at large immediately after release. Maria ran expose’s of Hunter Biden and family, as well as the Covid lockdowns and cover-ups, years before the mainstream media would touch them. Maria — and each woman here — is variously subjected to cancelling, pseudo-personal scandal-mongering, and on occasion, vilification.

Here is Maria talking to Dr. Scott Atlas, the oft-censored Robert Wesson Senior Fellow in health care policy at Stanford’s Hoover Institution, in November of 2021:

BARTIROMO: Yes, I want to ask you about the Birx-Fauci lockdown, because, today, we have the FDA authorizing now booster shots for everybody, all adults.

Pfizer and Moderna are going to make a combined $93 billion in sales on this in the coming years on vaccines. What is going on here? Is this about money? Your thoughts on the FDA asking a federal judge to give it 55 years to wait for all data, release final data on the Pfizer vaccine?”

Then, a critically too late six months later, we see an “early” confirmation, evidence of massive pharmaceutical profiteering.

Bartiromo was the lone broadcaster with a national profile, certainly in the MSM, to publicly question the Covid vaccines, Covid lockdown policies, and mandate roll-outs, as early as November 2021. She has faced years of opposition. Yet, here is a current instance of what many in the scientific “community” are saying today about the now suspect vaccines.

Further, Maria on the Covid lockdowns and the 2020 approaching election:

“Fox News host Maria Bartiromo and Sen. John Barrasso agreed on “Sunday Morning Futures” that Democrats will try to cheat in the 2022 midterm elections and take advantage of Covid-19 to do so.”

The probability of massive voter fraud by Democrats-and-friends in 2020 has now reached the almost “arguable” stage for the MSM. No longer an item in Obama’s ridiculous store of “settled science,” widespread cheating did occur and is attested via hardware/software forensic reports, on videos, and in relevant professional assessments. What remains in question is whether voter fraud per se swung the 2020 election. (READ MORE: Tear Down the Social Media Bastille)

Now, in late 2023, Bartiromo is still intuitively on point, albeit with a different, recent issue. On Sunday Morning Futures, September 29, she proactively tussled with Congressman Matt Gaetz — questioning the wisdom and motivation of his central efforts in the anticipated vacate-the-chair motion in the House.

The Bartiromo-Gaetz argument received national attention later that Sunday. At this writing, as the Hamas-Israel war rages, the House Speaker’s Chair remains, to the world’s dismay, vacant.

Miranda Devine

Miranda currently works as a prominent journalist out of New York City, with a weekly column in the New York Post; she contributes to Australian outlets as well. Previously a mathematician by profession, Miranda became famous, or rather, “notorious,” in 2021 with the publication of her detailed investigative study of Hunter Biden, the Laptop from Hell. Miranda caught all kinds of grief at the time, but her book now represents the original definition of the Hunter Biden-Joe Biden scandal now under close congressional investigation. Had her work received the attention due at the time, we would be getting somewhere with the Biden farrago.

Just this week, Miranda published in the Post — in a characteristically definitive background digging — a piece on the Hamas attack; its informed content is unrivaled in recent accounts. From Devine’s introduction to her October 8, heavily researched, well connected, and substantiated piece:

The weekend’s depraved attack by Iran-sponsored Hamas terrorists on Israel reportedly blindsided U.S. and Israeli intelligence. How could that be?

Any postmortem on what went wrong has to include:

  1. The Biden administration’s preoccupation with its diabolical Iran nuclear deal, the so-called Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action launched by the Obama administration, scrapped by Trump’s, and reanimated by President Biden and his Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
  2. The recent bust of an Iranian spy ring said to reach into the highest levels of the State Department and the Pentagon.
  3. The crackdown on anti-Iranian dissident group MEK in Albania in June.

Candace Owens

Candace was variously vilified and admired for her prescient 2020 inauguration of the Blexit (Black Exit) movement. Ms. Owens has been and is advancing the case that the Democratic Party, as self-defining lovers of African Americans, is in fact responsible for a good deal of their ills, going back a long way. At the time, the left pounced on her notion as risible, but more blacks now counter the claims of that party, and many of them are black Americans such as Allen West, here: “All lives matter, but this radical organization, Black Lives Matter, is the ultimate Trojan [h]orse,” he wrote in the Canada Free Press. “The consistent purveyors of systemic racism in America is [sic] the Democrat Party.”

Fast forward one year after Blexit: “The Republican Party is most aggressively taking root among younger black voters. Per Pew Research, 28% of black Republicans are ages 18 to 29, compared with 17% of black Democrats and 10% of white Republicans.”

Each has succeeded in exposing, against prevailing winds, frauds and injustices that bedevil the nation.

And this month: “The polling outfit [Rasmussen] added, “Majorities of every racial category — 53% of whites, 50% of black voters and 52% of other minorities — say they’re at least somewhat likely to vote for Trump in 2024. Twenty-five percent of black Trump voters say they would be more likely to vote for him if he picked a black running mate.” (READ MORE: My Top 10 Black Conservatives)

Candace is blessed with the “Millennial” genius of savvy leveraging via electronic communications, e.g., social media such as YouTube and X/Twitter (now over 8,000 posts). Her show on dailywire.com has created a not-so-secret-weapon for conservative change, bold outreach, and influence within and beyond the Y-generation.

A student on the SUNY Albany campus appeared aggrieved at Owens’s recent appearance there:

Daily Wire host Candace Owens is on tour with Turning Point USA, and she’s on fire.

During an appearance at New York’s University at Albany, the very pregnant Owens was asked a question by a student who clearly had a problem with the outspoken conservative being on campus.

When the conservative crowd tried to drown out the question, Owens asked them to quiet down so that she could give the young woman the courtesy of hearing her question.

“What do you have to say to the trans students on this campus who feel actively victimized by your presence here?” the student asked.

Owens’ pithy response: “Life’s tough, get a helmet, man.”

I’m too pregnant for this,” Owens added as she moved on to the next question.”

Candace is tough and funny and expert at making her point to young Americans. She is also a black, female conservative; that is all very good news.

In closing these briefs, a caveat: Women are different. Men are different. Vive La Difference.
