The Trump Budget will not pass. The Republicans will go wobbly in the face of the screaming Left and Media. Plus, the Republicans kinda like PBS and all the fat government programs.
In the meantime, though, it’s nice to glory in what could be: a budget that totally eliminates programs. That’s the way it must be done. Any remnants of an office can get funding back. It’s tough to create a new agency out of whole cloth.
Please, Republicans, find your baby spine and back the President’s priorities. Well, most of them. Trump’s budget still increases spending. Reduce spending, Republicans, by eliminating even more government nonsense. The taxpayers will thank you:
In total, the budget proposes to eliminate funding for these 19 agencies:
African Development Foundation
Appalachian Regional Commission
Chemical Safety Board
Corporation for National and Community Service
Corporation for Public Broadcasting
Delta Regional Authority
Denali Commission
Institute of Museum and Library Services
Inter-American Foundation
