Via Kevin D. Williamson, 114 House Democrats signed a petition asking Republicans to allow the “clean” debt ceiling vote that the Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer is now advising them to vote against.
Lame hypocrisy goes hand-in-hand with raising the debt ceiling. However, usually it’s the majority party asking for the clean debt limit vote.
